Our goal is to have our Technical Support Team provide the highest levels of Customer Support and assistance with the RTB System. Note: Support does not include training and/or other issues unrelated to the performance of the RTB System.

The Universal Printer Driver is a single-driver printing solution aimed at simplifying an organization's server-based printing needs. Please click on the Printers button to download the printing software that will allow you to print.
We enable our Customers to do basic troubleshooting of problems before contacting one our Technical Support Team personnel. Please click on the Troubleshoot button to review Technical Support documentation related to solutions for typical problems sometimes encountered during the use of the RTB System.

Real Time Bookkeeping™ System Requirements

Microsoft Windows Based Sytems:

  • Properly configured Internet connection (56K or highter, broadband recommended)
  • 128 MB RAM
  • 500 MB free hard disk space
  • Windows 200 or newer (2000, XP, Vista, etc.)
  • Pentium Processor or newer
  • SVGA monitor, 1024 x 768 minimum resolution (if not using dual screen monitors)
  • Internet Explorer 6 or newer
  • Permission to run Active X controls

Macintosh Based Systems:

  • Properly configured Internet connection (56K or highter, broadband recommended)
  • 128 MB RAM
  • Intel Based Processor
  • SVGA monitor, 1024 x 768 minimum resolution (if not using dual screen monitors)
  • OSX Tiger or newer
  • Latest Version of Safari
  • Remote Desktop Connection for Mac
  • MacFUSE and MacFusion ***needed for netdrive type functionality

Linux Based Systems:

  • Properly configured Internet connection (56K or highter, broadband recommended)
  • 128 MB RAM
  • 500 MB free hard disc space
  • Firefox 2
  • rdesktop

Java Clients:

  • Properly configured Internet connection (56K or highter, broadband recommended)
  • Latest version of Java
  • Java Enabled Web Browser
  • Ability to view resolutions up to 1024 x 768

Dual Screen Monitors:

  • 2 Video Ports, each can be either DVI or VGA

PCMCIA Video Card:

  • Open PCMCIA slot
  • CD ROM drive to install software

USB Video Card:

  • Open USB port
  • CD ROM drive to install software

Scanners (Sold by RTB):

  • 1 open USB port
  • CD ROM drive to install software
  • ***Windows Vista users must upgrade scanning software if it doesn't already come with the scanner

Scanners (not sold by RTB, network scanners, multi-function printer/scanner/copiers, etc.):

  • TWAIN compliant scanner
  • Your own scanner & software and the ability to configure both ** may not be fully compatible
  • Ability to configure your scanner
